Petition Letter
Hi,
my name is Meghan Beaton and I am writing this appeal to join the MATH 121 online course during the summer 2022 semester. I took this course during the fall and winter of last school year and I failed. near the end of the school year, I found out that my parents are separating and it really took a toll on my mental health. Since I was not able to learn or study properly, I deferred my final exam which resulted in my mark not coming onto solus until a few days ago. I needed a certain percentage of my exam to pass the course and due to my circumstances and it being very hard to focus and study, I did not get the mark I needed and I failed the course. Once again my mark did not come onto solus until a few days ago so I did not know I needed to retake the course until now and because I need this course for my program, I would like to have it done by the end of the summer so I am not as far behind. I have already notified the professor and I have her approval which was also sent to the arts and science online contacts.
