To whom it may concern,
I am writing to submit an appeal to waive the 21-day period to appeal academic standing. I received a letter regarding a requirement to withdraw on May 24 2022. I did not view this email until much later due to a travel commitment to lead a youth program in the U.S. Immediately following I had a start date of employment at a summer camp in Seguin, ON, where I lived on site for the entire summer. This employment ran full time until August 21 2022. I only regained access to a computer upon my return.
I spoke today with an Arts & Science advisor who advised me to submit this appeal to waive the 21-day period prior to submitting an appeal to my requirement to withdraw. I understand that the process to appeal can take some time. I have overcome the circumstances which lead to my current academic standing, and I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to move forward with an appeal.
