Petition Letter
I am requesting to not have a financial penalty for dropping MICR 271 past the deadline. I was finally able to book an appointment with my Life Sciences Academic Advisor to meet today, and she told me that I was registered in the wrong class, and needed to switch it out for MICR 221 next semester. Now that we have done so, I would like to appeal to not have a financial penalty, since it was a mistake, and I had been following my Life Sciences Plan Calendar. Secondly, I was not told on my (Several) phone calls to the ArtSci Hotline for academic advising that I was in the wrong one, and this was the earliest I could book a life sciences one. I believe that this was out of my control, and I should not have to pay this financial penalty.
