Petition Letter
Good Afternoon,
I am writing this appeal because I wish to drop a class after the deadline. I am currently taking a philosophy seminar, PHIL 459, taught by Adele Mercier. She is a wonderful professor and recommended me to enrol in PHIL 362, which is also taught by Ms. Mercier, in the same lecture hall, immediately following PHIL 459. However, as the lectures in PHIL 362 help me to grasp some important concepts in the seminar, I am not required to complete the credit to graduate. I am concerned that the grade may affect my GPA and ability to graduate as I am focusing on the seminar grade and treated PHIl 362 as extra guidance.
