Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I am looking to appeal for the purpose of withdrawing from CLST. My father has suffered a stroke and with my heavy course load I am unable to take this course and would like to replace it with something online based so I can spend time with him at home and continue my academics at the same time. With his circumstances being so unknown and based on time, I was unsure whether I wanted to take a full course load or not. I have now come to the decision based on results from his doctor that I would like to prioritize my fathers health and replace this class with an online only class or no class at all. If i had known his medical prognosis sooner I would have organized earlier, but the stroke just happen and I have spread my time thin between travelling from kingston to burlington, moving into a new place in kingston and trying to go to classes.
