Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I signed up for CHIN 100 at the beginning of the year as as a grade booster. During my placement interview I did exceptionally well since I had prepared for a long time, so the professor recommended that I get boosted to third year despite me being a first year. I was wary but she insisted I would do well and she??d mark me easier. However, despite my efforts I can??t learn 2 years of content in addition to this year??s content in one year and my grades have suffered. It??s affected my other class work and my mental health. I was pressured by home to keep the course but I am afraid I won??t be able to get into my major with these grades for a class that was supposed to be fun.
Please consider allowing me to drop.
