1. I am applying for aegrotat standing in Pols 110 taught by Dr. Goodyear-Grant. I have discussed the matter with my professor who suggested I can make this application and offered her support in its approval. This is a full-year course and as a consequence of various unexpected health challenges, I missed the majority of the winter semester. Up until the start of my health issues in February, I fully participated in the course and I feel all of the primary course objectives have been reached. From mid-February until the end of the semester, I was not able to effectively attend or participate in the course and the tutorials. Without the benefit of attendance, I feel that I am materially disadvantaged if I were obligated to complete a final exam. Accordingly, I believe my situation is appropriate for aegrotat standing as opposed to an approved late drop or taking a final exam at an unjust disadvantage.

2. In the original decision, I was granted the opportunity to late drop ENGL 100 within fifteen business days, however, I requested more time for that decision and in your response on April 13, you indicated you could provide more than fifteen days to accept a late drop. At this time I would like to accept a late drop.
