Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: May 11, 2023
Dear Associate Dean Academic;
I am petitioning to be allowed to register (late) for MATH 121 (Summer 2023).
I realize the course has already started, but I don't believe I will have trouble catching up since I've taken it before, even though I didn't pass.
I tried to register before the 5th, but I couldn't because my grade in MATH 121 (F22/W23) wasn't yet registered.
I'd like to resolve this process quickly so I can begin the class. It's been 4 business days so far, so there shouldn't be a problem.
This course is also required for me to apply to the chemistry plan so if this all works, I would then be on track by September.

I have been communicating with the Professor who wrote to me below.

Hello Marina,
I'd support your request to join MATH 121 after the academic deadline. But you have to submit
the appeal first.
I haven't received anything from the faculty office yet.
