Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I was uncessful in completing the Math120/Math121 course during the Fall/Winter semester and only found out my grade today which is why I am only applying to start the course after the deadline passed. I believe part of my inability to succeed in the course is due to not having access to my IEP accomodations in the Fall session as I did not have access to my 1.5x time on the midterms nor access to a calculator. I believe that I can succeed in the course and would really appreciate the opportunity to take it during the summer term as I will be able to focus on the content as I am only taking two courses and will have access to my full accomodations.

I am hoping to wave the peition deadline for adding a class after the deadline as the course has already begun and I am already several days behind schedule. I would like to join this course as soon as possible so that I can catch up and improve on my current grade.
