Petition Letter
Petition Letter: I am submitting an appeal to remove a failed course from my transcript. The course was, a 6.0 unit full year course, POLS 110A. I was experiencing significant mental health issues and learning limitations, for which I was seeking support and have now completed an learning assessment and registered with QSAS (winter 2023). During the 2021-2022 academic year for which I was seeking the appeal/petition I was undiagnosed and as such had not yet started receiving the

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: Should my appeal be approved and the course dropped, I will be able to declare my major in Economics allowing me to enter into the required courses for my honours degree. I have made a-lot of changes over the last year to improve my academics where I began using academic accommodations to support my learning. I am also looking into to continuing to improve next year with an academic coach and tutors to keep me on track in the courses I struggle in.
