Petition Letter
Petition Letter: Due to a course getting cancelled at my home institution. I have had to take this class as I was desperate to graduate this summer. However, the course has been very challenging for me to complete as I experienced high anxiety related to personal matters related to family and finances at the beginning of June. As a result, I went to the doctor at my university's medical centre and have started anxiety medication as of Thursday, June 29. Focusing on completing coursework and committing the necessary hours to succeed in PHYS 118 is impossible right now due to my mental state. As a visiting student, I also need to obtain a minimum grade of 60%, and due to my mental health, I will not be able to meet that requirement to use this course toward my degree at my home institution at this time.
