Petition Letter: This is Yanzhe Wang. I encountered a lot of mental and physical discomforts during the summer vacation. In the week of the psychological midterm exam, my grandma and I were diagnosed COVID, so I postponed the exam to take care of grandma. But when my grandma recovered (I haven't recovered at this time), my grandma left me alone at home because of cultism, so I didn't take care of myself and I was hospitalized about one month later due to pneumonia caused by COVID. At the same time, my mental state is really bad since my parents confessed to me at the end of my winter term that they were going to divorce. I love my parents very much and it doesn't help. Because I also have a younger brother, the reason they haven't divorced yet is that they both want to fight for the custody of my younger brother. That's why I mentioned above that my grandma and I got COVID, because I basically haven't seen them this summer vacation, only me and my grandma are at home. I have major depressive disorder, schizophrenia and anxiety disorders and have been extremely disturbed. I attempted suicide this summer, but my friends stopped me so now I am writing this petition letter trying to make some compensation.
