Petition Letter

Petition Letter: To Whom It May Concern,

I'm Zixuan Cao majoring in Economics, and my Queen's Student ID is 20148527. As a junior, I have some reasons why I need to take fall-session courses at another institution during the Fall 2023. I'd like to make best use of my spare time to complete some courses and transfer the credits back to Queen's University, thus I can spare more time for planning my internships and my application for graduate studies. I guess I will get well prepared for my future plans if I could take more courses in my spare time and graduate earlier.

The host university is Minghsin University of Science and Technology (MUST) and I'm planning to take four courses on an ILOP during this Fall term.

The courses I will take at the host university are:
CS 111 Discrete Mathematics for Computer Science I
FREN 101 Introductory French I
GEO 211 Dynamic Earth
WRIT 110 Effective Writing

which are respectively equivalent to Queen's University's:
CISC 102 Discrete Mathematics for Computing I
FREN 106 Communication et Culture I
GEOL 104 The Dynamic Earth
WRIT 120 Fundamentals of Effective Writing

I alao will contact my department to get a written permission.
I hope you may kindly approve of my appeal to take these courses on an ILOP. Thanks a lot.

Best Regards,
Zixuan Cao
