I am writing to formally appeal for permission to drop GPHY 304 after the academic deadline due to unexpected and serious mental health challenges that have significantly impacted my ability to fulfill academic obligations. I have seemed professional help and actively am trying to heal. I have always taken my studies seriously, and it is with great regret that I find myself in this situation. Over the past month I have severely struggled with sport injury and the effects its had on me. I understand the importance of adhering to university policies and deadlines, but it has been impossible to have this course on my timeline.
