Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: This is a petition in regards to a late class drop for GPHY 227. I originally attempted to drop just hours after the deadline and found out I would need to petition to drop the course so I decided I would at least attempt the class. I know this is very late but the material is just not for me. I have no motivation to work on the assignments for this class and it is impeaching my ability to work on my other classes. I know that these assignments are what I have to get done first but because I am just interested in the class, I cannot get anything else done. I am also in an engineering degree so the class isnt necessarily contributing to it. I have a lot of work to do for those other classes and would rather not have to deal with the anxiety having to worry about this class. I know this may not be significant enough of a reason to drop this course, but I request that you please consider my situation.
