Petition Letter: I hope this message finds you well. I'm reaching out to request permission to drop CISC 365 - Algorithms.
This course requires a 50% on the final to pass the course (regardless of other deliverables), and I strongly doubt I can achieve that, given my midterm grade of a 20%.
It's final season, and my other classes are demanding a lot of attention. I believe dropping and retaking this class in the future is the best move. My aim is to end this semester on a strong note, and right now, that means focusing on the classes where I have a chance.
