Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: At the end of the summer of 2023, I was unfortunately burdened with the loss of my grandmother, which led to some issues in academics and my personal life. The issues in my personal life then led to more issues in academics, which is why I am requesting this late drop for MATH 280. I Started seeing Dr. Arunima Khanna at student wellness at the start of the year and she recommended me to apply to drop this class. The terrible stress that this class brought me, I decided, was not worth the failing grade that I would likely receive.
