Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I want to appeal my status in the SPAN111 class. This was a class where there was an individual that I had known in the past who had a history of sexual assault. I want to address my experience with mental illness, that I have received treatment and am participating in the continuation of this. Knowing that this individual was in the class, and the room was small in size (allowing for conversation and activities in Spanish), I was very much uncomfortable. I want to express that I feel this classmate in the particular learning environment of this class was detrimental to my success in the course.
