Petition Letter: My petition is to late-drop this course as I was unwell with a mental health crisis. I have been suffering from a multitude of mental health challenges these past few months and therefore unable to attend classes for STAM 200. Since the summer of 2023, I have been admitted to the psychiatric ward at the Brockville General Hospital, had many appointments with health care professionals, including my GP, counselors, social workers, psychiatrists, etc. I have been very unwell and that has caused much mental angst. Therefore, I was unable to take this course, and feel a late-drop of the course is acceptable in my circumstances.
