Petition Letter: Hello,
This is Yishan Ling. and wish you a happy new year. I encountered a shooting midway through the 2023 semester, which seriously affected my studies and life. My parents came to Canada from China because of my mental condition, which was often a state of insomnia and anxiety. When I was studying Spanish, I thought I would be able to concentrate and complete the exam, but I would throw up every time I studied, so I didn't review well. I am a linguistics student, and the minimum requirement for this course is C, but when I reviewed it, I found that I couldn't read anything. I applied to the teacher to take the exam in the new semester, but I found that even if I tried my best, I still couldn't get a higher score. I wanted to delay dropping the course, and I would do it after my physical and mental health were protected this semester then I will retake this course. Could you please help me to drop this course?
