Petition Letter: Hello! I am a student currently in the PHIL program and looking to switch into BIOL. I currently need this course as an elective but dropped it while switching my schedule due to time conflicts. While I know it is very late into the month, I really do want to take this course this semester to further my progress towards my degree. I will work hard to catch up on anything I have missed over the year so far if I am able to.
I am aware that I am late to enrolling, but I really would like a chance to participate in this course if I am able to.

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: My academic plan involves me managing my time properly to devote more focus to PSYC 236 until I am able to adequately catch up with the readings and assignments in the course. I have made sure to schedule more time for studying in this course while it is necessary, and making sure I am not overworked or too busy. I am also making sure I am taking a lighter course load this semester so I should be able to properly keep up on the readings. In addition to this, I meet with academic counselors when I can to ensure I am following proper study strategies and am doing well enough mentally to properly focus on my classes.
