Petition Letter: Hello,
I'm in my 4th year of Computer science on track to graduate through the fundamental computation stream. I'm all set to graduate this spring however I am quite worried about one of my courses, CISC 454, I've been struggling to grasp the content and really not doing well in it. I intended on dropping it and taking a different course however there were none that fit into my schedule. I'm scared I won't pass and won't be able to finish my degree in time for the job I intend to get starting this summer. To avoid this I noticed that a seat has opened up in CISC 468 which does fit into my schedule and I think I would have a far greater chance at succeeding in this course even if I have to work really hard to catch up from what I've missed. I already emailed the instructor to ask how the catchup would be and if he'd be ok with me joining late. I haven't heard back yet but I am hopeful that he will be ok with it.

Academic Plan: I plan to work hard to catch up and do whatever the course instructor suggests for me to find success in the course. I know a couple people in the course already who said they will share their notes and help get me caught up.
