Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: For courses CISC 220, CISC 365, and CISC 352, I took separately 3 semesters. My family had huge financial issues since 2022 summer, and I have had to work almost full-time while studying to gain the living cost and pay debt. Thus, for these 3 courses, I have the same issues during my study, there are some conflicts with in-person courses, and makes my study hard, and can not finish it. With the heavy duty of working, and debt also hard for me to study with a good state of physical and mental health. Thus, these courses are not finished. To keep up with the pace of the program, I have submitted the LOP to take CISC365 AND 352 in other institutions to transfer them back. To keep a better GPA on Queen's transcript also, I would like to ask to drop them. For CISC 220, it used to be on my options list for the program, however, the options changed and it is no longer on the list, and do not need it to graduate, and even not for elective courses. Also a reason for keeping a better GPA on Queen's transcript, I would like to ask to drop it.
