Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Dear Professor and Dean, I am here to request that this grades will be left out of my GPA calculation. I understand that taking this course was my mistake and I would like for that mistake to be not reflected on my final GPA calculation hence I am writing a petition to ask that you give me lienacy to accept my request for a late drop of this course so that it would not affect my final GPA calculation as this course was really a struggle for me personally as I was not aware of the difficulty in which the final exam would be. If possible I would like for this grade/course to be excluded from my reports and be accepted as a dropped course hence it would not affect my overall GPA, as a first year student, this is a lesson I learn to not choose a course I am not well prepared/interested in. Please I request to have this course to be dropped.
