Petition Letter: ATTENTION: DEVS102 Summer 2024

To Whom It May Concern:

Office of the Dean/Registrar's Office, Dr./Prof. Rebecca Hall and DEVS102 Team,

This letter shall prove to swear that I have been inactive in the system since I completed DEVS101 with Dr/Prof Ayca Tomac in Winter 2024 semester.

While I was interested in taking DEVS102 during the summer 2024 semester, I needed a break, to recuperate with mental health, and so I totally forgot to drop out of the course before the deadline. Because of the information I had read in the Winter 2024 semester, I had the assumption that I would be automatically dropped out of the course for not paying the tuition fees before the financial deadline. Undoubtedly, it is still my responsibility to have all these deadlines carefully reviewed and I hope that moving forward, my interests as a student shall be considered.

Due to the nature of the lack of attendance and submission of any assessment, I would like to kindly ask to be removed from the course without any academic penalty, financial obligation, or permanent record.

Above all, I sincerely apologize for the lack of communication, inconvenience, and its possible repercussions brought by my absence. If all perspectives are considered and my request is still denied, my final hope is for compassionate and humanitarian grounds to be granted.
