Petition Letter: Hi,

I am writing to formally request a late course drop for Math111 and to enroll in Math112 to satisfy my academic requirements.

I initially enrolled in Math111 in September 2022 and completed the course in April 2023. Unfortunately, I did not achieve the grade I was hoping for and intended to retake the course in Fall 2024 to improve my understanding and my CGPA. However, upon searching for the course in SOLUS, I discovered that Math111 is no longer offered.

After consulting with the Art and Science Student Service, I was informed that the university has removed Math111 from the curriculum. They advised me to apply for a late course drop to prevent the course from negatively impacting my CGPA. Additionally, they suggested that I enroll in Math112, which will fulfill the necessary academic requirements for my program.

Given these circumstances, I kindly request the following:

1. Approval for a late course drop for Math111.
2. Permission to enroll in Math112 as a replacement course to satisfy my academic requirements.
