Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Unfortunately, due to personal circumstances, I havent been unable to attend classes or complete any coursework since July 3rd. Specifically, I have been dealing with a family death in New York which has made it extremely challenging for me to keep up with my academics. I have been flying in and out of New York to attend the funerals, and spend time with family. During these flights I did not bring my laptop which made it very difficult for me to do school work. And this event has negatively affected my academic performance and mental well-being. I haven’t been the same since the passing and it has caused significant stress and anxiety. I am still recovering, I took a break from everything and just spent time with family for the past month. And I believe it is best for me to withdraw from the course. I did not foresee these challenges when I enrolled, and I regret that I have not been able to participate.
