Petition Letter: To whom it may concern,

In the winter term of 2024, I was competing as a professional athlete internationally. During this time, I contacted my instructors and filled out a leave of absence form to ensure that I could navigate being a professional athlete and a good student as well. After filling out the absence form, it took a month for a reply, and during this time I was already absent from Kingston and competing on an international level. Had I known that there would be no support for my endeavors as an athlete, I would not have taken on the same course load as I did. I am hoping that we can find a solution to this issue, and I can continue my studies as they were before, with an emphasis on giving priority to my courses over my athletic career.
