Petition Letter: I am writing to express my interest in participating in an exchange program at Universidad Antonio de Nebrija in Madrid for the Winter 2025 semester.
I am a third-year commerce student with a planned exchange term this winter in the Netherlands. The opportunity to study abroad was a significant factor in my decision to attend Queen's University and pursue the commerce program. While I am fortunate to have already accepted an offer from a European university, I have recently grown concerned about the exchange school I selected, mainly due to the lack of a pre-established group to travel with. With this petition, I would like more than 6.0 credits approved. I believe studying in Madrid would provide me with a solid social network, enhance my exchange experience, and allow me to maximize my time abroad, ensuring that no resources or valuable time are wasted.
After thorough consideration, the prestigious Universidad Antonio de Nebrija in Madrid would be a more suitable option. The university offers a range of business courses, which I have submitted in a letter of permission. Additionally, the program includes organized trips, providing a structured and enriching way to explore Europe and parts of Africa.
I am submitting this application to inquire about switching my exchange destination, as this change would be in my best interest.

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: I plan to complete my Bachelor of Commerce degree at the end of the Winter 2026 semester. Since an exchange term is already incorporated into my program, I believe my current path to graduation will remain unaffected as long as my proposed courses are approved. I intend to return to Queen's University for the Fall 2025 semester to continue with my academic plan.
