Petition Letter: My extentuating circumstances involve me accidentally enrolling in a course from another faculty (GLPH) and being unaware that it was from another faculty, and that I was not allowed to take more than 6.0 units from courses outside of Arts and Science. My request is to switch out of this course and into a DEVS course so that I am able to graduate on time. Unfortuntely, I do not have room in my Winter 2025 schedule to take another course, as I am taking 6 courses in both terms this year.
Academic Plan
Academic Plan: I am commited to catching up on work I have missed in this class from the weeks that I was not enrolled. I will do this through hard-work and time management so I am able to balance the work in all of my classes. I will get in contact with the professor right away to make sure I know what work needs to be caught up on , and I will also get in touch with any classmates that I know in the class so that they may also help me in my pursuit to catch up on work. I know I will be able to achieve this as it is my goal to graduate in the spring of 2025, and I would not allow anything to get in the way of graduating on time.
