Academic Plan

Academic Plan: Dear Academic Appeals Committee,

I am writing to formally request a consideration to add a course to my current semester and to drop the fee for dropping a course past the deadline due to an academic advising error. Earlier in the academic year, I consulted with an academic advisor regarding my course selection in preparation for graduation this semester. Unfortunately, I was misguided about the credits and courses necessary to fulfill my degree requirements. As a result, I did not enrol in the required courses within the standard registration period and was forced to drop one.

This error has placed me in a challenging position, as I am now short of the four courses needed to complete my degree this semester. Given that I am in my final term and aiming to graduate, this situation has caused significant stress and uncertainty. I kindly request an exception to allow me to enrol in the necessary courses to meet my academic goals.

I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this request may cause and appreciate your understanding of the circumstances that led to this situation. I am fully committed to completing my remaining requirements and would greatly appreciate the opportunity to rectify this oversight.

Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to your response.

Sincerely

Avery Evans (20224669)
