Petition Letter
Petition Letter: I am writing this letter to appeal to you so that you can consider allowing me to add ECON 212 this semester. ECON 212 is a prerequisite for my program and not being added to the class this semester will impede my progress.
I understand there are other options such as taking it this summer or concurrently next year if those are both possible. However, I intend to be working full-time this summer so that I can pay my tuition, and do not want to overload myself for next year so that I can give myself the best chance at success in my studies.
I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this request may cause, but I was working full-time this summer, and felt completely lost when enrolling for my courses.
I was planning on taking ECON 212, but was restricted to join due to being late to paying my tuition. As soon as I realized my tuition was late I paid the tuition but was placed on waitlist. I was then removed from the waitlist as the deadline hit, leaving me with only 4 courses this semester.
If ECON 212 is completely full, I would like the possibility to join ECON 255 as I can take either class next semester along with STAT 263. If I were to take ECON 255, ECON 212, AND STAT 263 all in one semester I believe that my academic outcome will be very much negatively affected.
I take ownership of this and I have learned my lesson for future registrations and course planning, but sincerely appeal to you to add me to ECON 212 (Or 255 if 212 is full) as soon as possible this term so that I do not fall any further behind in the class.
Thank you for your consideration,
Noah Bakonyi

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: My plan is to get a BAH, majoring in economics. Upon completion of my BAH I also plan to complete a Queen's Certificate of Business. The ECON 212 course is a prerequisite for my plan and major, and that is why I am sincerely appealing to have the course added as soon as possible. As noted in my letter, if ECON 212 is completely full I would like to join ECON 255 as a second choice.
Sincerely,
Noah Bakonyi
