Petition Letter: My name is Dean Ellis and I am a 3rd year student at Queens University. I want to study abroad at the Sant’Anna Institute of Sorrento as an independent study. I am writing this petition to waive the 6-credit limit as I plan on taking 12-15 credits abroad. I am close to the ILOP deadline to pay and I need to confirm that more than 6 credits will be transferable for me.

I am a 3rd-year student majoring in Political Science and Minoring in Philosophy, however, I am considering dropping my minor to confirm my course requirements.
Here are the following courses I would like to or am interested in taking next semester:
I for sure want to take:
1. POL 375: Human Rights (3 credits)
2. POL 375: Geopolitics and Energy (3 credits)
3. POL 208: International Politics (3 credits)
4. PHIL 375: Religions of the Classical Antiquity (3 credits)
5. RELG 101: World Religions (45 hours, 3 credits)
If there was an issue with any of these, I would be interested in taking some of the other classes such as SOC 203 which can be credited as elective courses.
