Petition Letter: Hello, my name is Luca Cellucci.
At the beginning of the semester, I mistakenly dropped one of my courses, assuming I would get off the waitlist for another. Because of this, I now only have four courses this term. I have recently filled out another petition, wondering if I could add a class, but sadly, that was withdrawn.
I have looked into other courses to find my 5th-semester course. I found a few, but the one that interested me the most was RELS 163. I contacted Professor Shobhana Xavier of RELS 163 on Friday, the 27, wondering if she would have room in her class and could allow me to join. Sadly, she has not answered so I could not add that information in my petition since it is the last day to submit this petition.
I would love to be able to join this class and fix my initial mistake of dropping a class before getting off the waitlist for another. I am very interested and I am ready to catch up on all the missing notes and assignments.

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: I am asking to take this class and complete my course load to save my academic plan. I don't want to have to worry about missing a credit. I am not able to take this course for the credit I am missing in the summer because I work and would rather not take six courses in one semester. Therefore now is the perfect time for me to take it.
I am prepared to catch up on all the missing notes, activities and assignments in order to prepare myself for coming tests and exams. I am interested in the course description and know I would enjoy and be happy to learn.
