Petition Letter: Dear Professor,
My name is Brenda Watman and this letter has the purpose to let you know why I was not able to drop my summer course on time. Obviously I have missed my exam and I have a Failed course now as a result.
I have been put on Aderall for ADHD which is one of the several failed diagnosis I have been attributed as a part of my mental health issues. I am almost finished with my degree which I am comitted to finish in the next year.
At the time of the course I was dissociated most of the time, this medication was very harmful for my health, concentration and memory. It was an art course, as you can see in my marks for example I have an A in stats is not that I am not capable to do an Art course. It is just the time went by and I was not aware of it. By the time I wanted to drop the course the final exam just happened.
Now I was able to quit that medication which have not been easy, and I am back at my courses all in.
I would really appreciate if you would kindly allow me to do a late drop for the art course and forgive me about my lack of attention during a hard time.
I am attaching a letter from my therapists who are helping me to get back on track.
Warm Regards,
Brenda Watman
