Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I was placed into MATH 120 at the beginning of the semester due to MATH 121 not having slots but as soon as the semester started, MATH 121 had a slot available, I tried to switch to MATH 121 but could not due to a hold on my account due to missing tuition. however, i had paid my tuition and tried to contact support to lift the hold but they could not as they supposedly could not find my tuition payment I had also sent receipts and proof of payment paid way before deadline to support but they still could not lift the hold. after around 3 - 4 weeks, the hold was lifted as they had found the payment in their system and i was placed into MATH 121. but at that point, I had already missed most of the fundamentals of the course and with the drastic difference between the two courses, as a result, I struggled to catch up while taking all my other math courses, as i had not taken a elective.
