Petition Letter
Petition Letter: To whom it may concern,
I am writing this letter to humbly request an academic consideration to drop my courses for the Fall 2024 semester past the deadline to do so. Throughout the first semester, I was experiencing mental health issues due to changes within my life that prevented me from performing at an academic level I know I am capable of. Since the end of that semester, I have made an effort to improve myself as both a student and a member of our society, and I believe that I will do well this semester. However, these courses I regrettably failed will remain on my record, causing me to be forced to leave the school at the end of the semester unless they are removed. Throughout my journey of overcoming my own psychological shortcomings that caused me not to work at my best, I have attained a new passion for learning that pushes me to do well this semester, and in the rest of my years at this university, if I am allowed to continue learning. I sincerely ask for your kind consideration in my request and eagerly await your answer.
Regards,
Adam Baryliuk
