Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: For the past 2 weeks I have been searching and attempting to swap into a new elective and drop CLST 150. I am looking for a course that better suits my interest however every course I have tried to join either has some sort of a restriction of which I was unaware of and have been unable to find out why although making various attempts. I have found IDIS 199 which far better suits my area of interest for elective studying compared to CLST 150. It has been a lengthy process of trying to find a new course as a result of insufficient help and guidance from those I have reached out to including the faculty of arts and science either not answering the phone for 30 minutes or them transferring me to places which have not helped along with different departments either not responding to my inquiries about courses which have been open but need department approval.
