I am writing to respectfully petition for admission to HLTH 101: Social Determinants of Health. I understand that the term has already begun, but I previously submitted an email on January 10th, prior to the deadline, to express my interest in enrolling in this course. HLTH 101 is a critical component of my degree program and fulfills one of my core requirements. Due to my academic plan and scheduling constraints, this semester is the only opportunity for me to take this course and stay on track toward completing my degree on time.
Although I recognize that I am requesting admission a few weeks into the term, I am fully prepared to put in the effort to catch up on any missed material and fulfill all course requirements. I am committed to engaging with the coursework and actively participating to ensure my success in the class. I believe that HLTH 101 will provide me with invaluable insights and knowledge that are foundational to my field of study, and I am eager to begin learning as soon as possible.

Academic Plan: I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Health Science online, and this course is one of six core courses required during the first year. I have already completed four of these courses and need this one to fulfill my fifth requirement. Completing this course is a critical part of my academic plan for the winter semester, as it ensures I can stay on track with my overall program timeline.
The course requires a commitment of 10 hours per week, which I am fully prepared to dedicate. Additionally, I have created a plan to allocate extra time to ensure I can catch up on the three weeks of work I may need to cover.
Specifically, my plan includes:
• An additional 5 hours per week prior to reading week.
• 15 hours of dedicated study during reading week.
This approach totals 30 extra hours of focused work to bridge the gap. However, I would need some flexibility with deadlines to align this plan with the course's requirements. I am open to modifying my plan based on your input or suggestions to ensure I can meet the course's learning objectives and expectations.
