Petition Letter: Hi, My name is Darius
I am submitting this petition to be added to IDIS 173 & IDIS 373 late. i have received approval from Dr Butler to be added to these courses late
to explain my situation, i am in my last year and courses were very conflicting with my already existing schedule ( i need to take BIOL 200) so most thing had to revolve around that course timetable, so i hunted for courses and many were conflicting, so had to rearrange my schedule and IDIS 173 & 373 fit into my schedule as they were both online and had space available, but when i went to enrol in them they had the course reserves so i had to wait until january 6th to properly enrol, i did so but got thrown on the waitlist, so i did look for other courses just in case it did not go through but either the class was full, conflicted with my course timetable or needed additional courses that i did not have to take (i looked in almost every department). so i hopped these two classes would work,
then janauary 17th after the add period the waitlists disappear ( i was about 10th position for both courses) and that put me behind by two courses that i am required to graduate this year, and i am not from ontario so my lease is up this year ( as im graduating) and moving back out to the east coast.
so to sum everything together these two electives i need to fulfil my elective credits so i can maintain my standing and graduate this year and keep my eligibility for my post graduate programs, thank you for your time and hearing me out

Academic Plan: my academic plan to succeed in these courses:
For all my courses once i am enrolled i go through the whole onQ page and look for deadlines, assignment details, required readings, etc
i put them all into my notion page i created where it keeps all my course information regarding course work, i allocate them into sections for each course and section them off listing them as weekly quiz, assignment 1, etc and then i place the priority of them if they are weighted more, change priority the closer we get to deadlines for assignments, etc to ensure that i am on top of everything to garnish academic success
so when i get enrolled in both of these courses (IDIS 173 & IDIS 373) i will go through the onQ pages allocate the workload into my notion course work page, so i can put their course load into my weekly plans to ensure academic success.
and also look at if there are any close upcoming assignments , quizzes, readings, notes, etc and get them all squared away and completed.
I am very determined and will work hard to ensure that everything is completed and handed in with all my courses especially these two as i am joining late and will review all previous notes and readings that may be required so i can ensure that i know exactly what happened so far in the course
