Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Dear Dr. Stephenson and those of her office,

I was informed quite recently that I will no longer be able to take the course FREN 341, as the department made some changes and the credit from FREN 241 (which I took last year) is now the equivalent. I'm currently taking three courses, and dropping this course would put me under the three course requirement. As such, I was hoping for approval to join either a second or third year French course, such that I can acquire my credit. I understand that joining late may cause some issues, and I am more than happy to work to catch up. I would greatly appreciate your help in this matter, and I'm very flexible for any options that are on the table.

I have been in contact with the department of French studies, and have their support to join the courses of FREN 331, 352 and 397. I have supporting documentation (an email chain between myself and them) should you need it.
