Petition Letter: Hello, first of all I want to reashure you I'm now in good health and am in the process of getting help.

Me and my doctor suspect I have been experianceing some form of depression for the past few years. I made it through first year but have come to the conclusion that it would be unhealthy for me to continue my studies in second year in my current state. I have decided to cut my winter 2025 term short to seek help with the ambition of returning to my stidues in the fall term of 2025.

In addition I have had the missfortune of being diagnosed with onset stage 1 diabeties in early december 2024 in time for prime finals season. I wish to reitterate that I am doing fine and am now in good physical health. However my diagnosis had distracted me from the depression symptoms I was experianceing and caused me to attibute my stuggles to the undiagnosed diabeties rather then my depression. This delayed me seeking help with my depression well into the 2025 winter term.

Due to my onset type 1 diabeties and undiagnosed depression in the 2024 fall term I would like to make a late drop request for the courses I failed in that term aswell as a credit standing requessed for all the courses I sucessfully passed regardless of my grade.

Due to needing to take time to adequately adress my depression symptoms I would like to request a late drop for all my course(s) in the 2025 winter term that I have failed to drop before the acedemic penalty deadline.
