Petition Letter: To whom it may concern,
I missed the midterm as I was ill, and did not do well on the paper 1 (initially worth 10% of my mark). I was hoping to use the second paper, and final exam as a way to improve my mark. Due to the strikes, the paper 1 is now worth 70% of my grade, and I don't believe reflects my work in this class. As such I would like to request a CR, so that my GPA is not negatively impacted by the strikes.
