Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I am writing to formally request permission to withdraw from CISC 121 – Introduction to Computing Science I, despite the deadline having passed. Due to unforeseen and extenuating circumstances that have significantly impacted my ability to keep up with the course material and assessments, I believe that remaining enrolled would negatively affect both my academic performance and mental well-being. I have taken steps to manage the situation, including seeking academic support and guidance, but have ultimately determined that a late withdrawal is the most responsible decision. I respectfully request that my petition be considered on compassionate grounds.
