Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Hi, I want to update this grade from a GD to dropped, as I hope to graduate in Spring. I had extenuating circumstances that allowed me to drop my courses for one semester, but I was hoping to pass a final exam that was taken later, which I failed. The reason for this is that I spent the summer trying to deal with my mental health problems. I am currently 0.01 grade away from graduating, and dropping this course would allow me to graduate. I am desperate to get this course dropped so I can proceed with my graduation. Please let me know if this can be done as I would be forever grateful for your understanding and acceptance in this extreme situation.
