Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I am writing to request a withdrawal opportunity for MATH281. I will upload my personal statement and relevant medical certification later, which explains my specific special circumstances.

Additionally, the reason why I did not submit my withdrawal application before the academic deadline was that my parents only suddenly informed me on April 12th that they had decided to divorce. It wasn't until then that the huge impact the whole thing had on me completely exploded, which was also the fundamental reason why I developed depression. And this happened after the academic deadline, so I cannot submit a withdrawal request before the academic deadline.

In addition, according to the requirements of the school's official website, I sent my withdrawal application and medical certification to my college via email before the final exam of MATH281 on April 19th. Today, I received a response requesting that I submit my application through the online webpage again.
