Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I was planning on dropping these courses even before the deadline however, at the time I had a lock on my account that did not allow me to drop them. I spoke with an academic adviser to see if it could be overridden. Unfortunately it could not be. I want these removed now as I am worried they will affect my gpa at a time when I am trying to improve my academic standing. I have an email that shows the date I attempted to drop these classes as proof of the time of the attempt. I hope I haven't gotten this appeal in too late so I don't end up having to make an appeal for academic standing.
