My name is Rose and I'm a third year student at Queens. I'm in a bit of a sticky situation- I was supposed to retake stam200 this summer to make up my quantitive math grade for grad school admissions. The Yale MPP program has always been my dream, and the admissions team is willing to give me another shot for Fall 2026 if I satisfy this requirement. I'm only able to get this mark on my transcript in time for the application due date in the summer.
I also am dependent on OSAP, requiring me to take 3 courses this summer in order to receive funding. Currently I am enrolled in 2, and summer course enrollment dates have closed, despite me being 2nd on the waitlist for stam200. I can't drop these courses and get full tuition fee credit. I saw on the Queens website I could appeal this (enrolling in the course) through you- could you please let me know if there's anything I can do on my end?

Academic Plan: I plan on restudying this course and achieving higher marks (alongside taking microeconomics) to strengthen my quantitative math skills to apply for my masters.
