Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I am a mature senior student. I was not aware that I was supposed to file for an appeal to have my low marks removed until I spoke to Daved at CDS. I basically over extended myself my registering for too mayh courses. I had a two hour commute each way plus an invalid husband. I had someone come in to take care of him for fist semester but they could not do it after that and one day I came back and found him on the floor. he had fallen out of his wheelchair so after that I only attended classes two days a week which of course affected my grades. Then OSAP cut off my funding because my marks had dropped so I left Queens's for several years. I have recently returned and just found out I was supposed to appeal these low marks sooner. I am now paying for my own schooling. I resepctfully request that these marks be removed from my transcript. Thank you in advance.
