Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Since summer of 2024 I have been bouncing around various temporary housing places and dealing with unstable housing. From SSVP, Ozanam, short-stay crisis bed, downsview dells shelter, and now Toronto plaza shelter, I have been overwhelmed by my tenuous housing status and therefore unable to participate in the courses I am hoping to drop (POLS 384, POLS 402, SOCY 428). I attempted to commute to Kingston from Toronto to participate but it proved too much given the immense stress.

I am hoping to take one final swing at getting my degree. I will be submitting a tuiton amendment appeal and appeal to register with debt to go with this. I recognize how things look from the outside looking in but rest assured I will get the job done this time. All stressors are managed.
